Was concerned about the clouds, but at peak she popped right up above them... -

Mirror Lake After Dark
Mirror Lake after dusk, with Cobble Hill as a backstop. In the far distance, Whiteface Mountain and its ski trails are visible. -
Bar Harbor at Dusk
Dusk falls over the village of Bar Harbor. In the distance, the last vestiges of sunset linger on a thin whisp of cloud. Seen from Cadillac Mountain (where it gets quite cold after sunset, especially on windy evenings). -
Rochester at Night
The last hints of sunset are visible behind the Rochester, NY skyline. -

Aurora Dies Down
After about thirty minutes or so, the lights retreated back down to a green (white, to the eye) haze on the horizon. Ten or fifteen minutes later, they were gone. -
Dance of the Spirits
As seen at 47°N. Greens were visible to the unaided eye as a white haze, but purple hues were occasionally discernable. The lightshow lasted about 40 minutes or so; this is probably my favorite shot. -

September 7th CME - NY
Not a direct impact, but still a bit of activity as Earth moved through the stream of high-speed particles thrown off by a solar flare... -

Milky Way
Taken as a demo for some fellow observers out to see the aurora (after things started clouding over). Not bad for a 30s off-the-cuff attempt. -
